November 22, 2010
SUNDANCE, UTAH (December 2010)—Sundance Resort is set to open for ski and snowboard season on December 4th, 2010. Formerly the resort was set to open on December 10th, but recent snowfall and cold temperatures have prompted resort officials to move up the targeted date.
"We are very excited to announce that we will open a week early this season. On December 4th we will open the Front Mountain to Ray's Midway and will be ready to open more terrain as soon as conditions permit,” commented Jerry Warren, Director of Mountain Operations. “We are grateful to have received early snow and great temperatures for our snowmaking system and expect that this will launch us into a great season. We are pleased to offer this extra week to all our guests who enjoy the special snowsports and village experiences at Sundance."
