SALT LAKE CITY – Once again Westminster students dominate the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team’s roster with the announcement that 10 of its students – more than 1/3 of the team – were named to this year’s team.

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association named 28 athletes to the roster, including three Olympic medalists from the 2010 Games in Vancouver. Westminster’s own Bronze medalist Bryon Wilson was named to the team, along with fellow Olympians Lacy Schnoor, Ryan St. Onge, Dylan Ferguson and Heather McPhie.

“This is my 13th straight year being named to the U.S. Ski Team and even though that is a long time, it's just an honor and pleasure," said St. Onge. “The whole program is excited and energized to really go out there and get better at aerials.”
