I really didn't know much about Brian Head Resort beside the fact that this was Utah's most southern resort scoring the majority of the state's newest snowfall. They received 16” a few days before we came down. Reporting the highest snowfall total out of our last set of storms. A few days after the storm we really weren't expecting to find much fresh snow but with a little poking around and some advice from an incredibly helpful ski patroller, Shad, we were able to find some really amazing stuff.
Brian Head is FUN FUN FUN! We found a ton of natural hits as well as two really well done parks. One entry-level park and then a full size park with some serious features. Both were extremely well built and flowy.
Midweek lift tickets were only $35. For a mountain of this size and quality it is unheard of to see lift tickets this affordable. Do yourself a favor and check out Brian Head. It is a family friendly resort with really fun terrain for all abilities and styles. Not to mention Cedar Breaks National Monument is just a few miles up the road which makes for a beautiful hike after the lifts stop turning.
Food/Lodging We got some local insight as where was the cheapest/best place to eat and the consensus was Pizano’s. Really good pizza, calzones, pasta and service.
We scored a very affordable room at the Grand Lodge. This place was insanely nice for what they charge per night. Very very friendly staff, good food, hot tub, pool, gym, Aly was a great server at their bar.
HUGE Thank you to Alexis the Social Media director/Park Crew/Total Babe. Shad the assistant patrol director/all around awesome dude!! And everyone Brian Head Resort for being super accommodating and friendly.
Our last day it started snowing. With another potential 2’ in the forecast none of us wanted to leave! Unfortunately most of the park footage was lost due to an SD card corrupting. Take my word for it. It is totally legit!
I honestly can't wait to go back!
