First big storm of the season produced come incredible snow! Watch here as I get out for a few backcountry laps with the new pooch!
As most of you know I suffered an incredibly tragic loss during a catastrophic car accident a few months back. With the help of the community and the powers that be I somehow landed on my feet. I have been working 14+ hours days to rebuild a life Booter would be proud of. I just got a puppy from the one of the firefighters from the scene of the accident. I was extremely worried this puppy wouldn't be an adventure dog but so far he loves the snow and exploring, My kinda guy. Season Two of the Tiny Home Adventure is a go with some BIG news to be announced here in the next few weeks.
Thanks to @marsramp for the photos and awesome day
and BIG thanks to @MorningOrangeMusic for the awesome tunes

I thought this was the cutest thing ever. I just lost my Golden Retriever, Riley, after only 7 years and miss him so much. He also loved the snow. Thanks for sharing this, it made my day.
ps: I never thought the pup was in danger at any time. Life is full of calculated risks and we make these decisions ever day.

Hey David,
I appreciate your concern. The puppy was only in my jacket for the ride home which is an green run in my opinion. I am a professional snowboarder with my puppy's best interest in mind. If I were to fall I would make every attempt to keep him safe over myself. I'm sorry this made you uncomfortable but this is how I am raising my dog. They are built very differently, and I would never put him in a situation that I couldn't keep him safe in.
Sincerely,
Andrew Muse

That puppy is too young to be taken for rides like that. If the guy in the video falls, catches an edge and hits a tree, his weight could easily crush that dog. It's one thing to take it around and play in the snow on a mellow trail, but going through trees and shoots in that video is too risky for a baby animal. I'm sure if this was a small child, people would be really upset.
