It doesn't take much...

I won't call this a sleeper storm because I feel like that term has been beat to death. Let's call it what it was, a darn good ski day.  Alta was deep on Saturday! For what ever reason no one showed up to play until about noon. That meant all your favorite lines were there for taking, over and over again. It surpises me because forecasters were calling for a storm, just not a big one. Forecasts sat in the 2-5 inch range, and while that forecast verified at most resorts, the top of both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons did a whole lot better. Try 11-14". Guess what? I was there to ski it! Check out the video from Saturday at Alta.
