5 Resorts, 10K Acres, Unparalleled Access to Utah Powder

And boom! Just like that the Ikon Pass went from a sweet pass for skiers with long bucket-lists, to one of the best local deals going with the addition of unlimited access to Solitude Mountain Resort. Additionally, Brighton Resort has been added to the line up. Ikon Pass holders now have access to nearly 10,000 acres of terrain in Utah between Deer Valley Resort, Alta Ski Area, Snowbird, and now Solitude Mountain Resort and Brighton.

“The Ikon Pass is expanding, and with the addition of Solitude Mountain Resort and Brighton Resort, we are excited to offer unparalleled access to Utah, a state known around the world for its snow quality, variety of terrain, and accessibility,” said Erik Forsell, Chief Marketing Officer of Alterra Mountain Company.

If you’ve ever dropped into Honeycomb Canyon on a powder day, you know this is great news. Piles of white, fluffy, powder nestled between trees on varied terrain. And with an unlimited season pass, you can slip away to Solitude Mountain for just a few turns, or stay all day. The addition of Brighton to the Ikon Pass means pass holders now have up to 21 days to mix things up in Utah.

Existing Solitude Mountain season pass holders are automatically upgraded to the Ikon Pass which means they now get unlimited year-round access to Solitude, seven days at each Brighton Resort and Deer Valley Resort, plus another seven days to split between Alta and Snowbird as they please. All this with ZERO blackout dates. But…just like a cheesy late-night commercial…there’s more!

Want to explore? In addition to the five Utah resorts, Ikon Pass holders also have access to 30 ADDITIONAL destinations, plus special privileges and discounts with CMH Heli-Skiing.

Combined the 35 Ikon Pass destinations give holders access to 66,000 skiable acres, that’s a lot of powder!
