*Operational Status*
A tour’s operational status is confirmed between 4–6 pm the day prior to your reservation. This allows our guide team to carefully assess weather, avalanche conditions, and resort operations before finalizing the day’s route.

A private tour can accommodate in the following ways:
- OWN THE DAY
As a private group, you set the pace. From a relaxed day exploring the Wasatch to a vertical-packed adventure, your guide team will tailor the experience to match your goals.
- DEPART FROM RESIDENCE
In certain scenarios, your tour can begin directly from the resort where you’re staying. Likewise, the day can conclude at a destination resort of your choice.
- UTALIZE TOURING EQUIPMENT
While not required, backcountry touring can be woven into your day if two conditions are met:
- Client-Supplied Gear: Guests provide their own touring skis with functional touring bindings and climbing skins. Ski Utah does not provide rentals. All participants will be provided with an avalanche transceiver, backpack, probe, and shovel.
- Prior Touring Experience: Guests should have some prior experience using touring equipment. While you don’t need to be an expert, we want you to enjoy, so with a little prior experience guests will be able to cover more ground.

Private Tour Details
An Interconnect guide will contact you a few days prior to your tour to discuss group objectives, conditions, and options. Because mountain environments are dynamic, this conversation is one of many steps our team takes to ensure a safe, flexible, and unforgettable experience.
We look forward to sharing a day in the Wasatch Mountains with you!
