About the Bands: Dirty Revival Dirty Revival, a seven-piece Soul/Rock band hailing for Portland, OR, is quickly gaining notoriety for their inspired songwriting and impressive live performances and has been electrifying stages across the US since 2013. Dirty Revival’s democratic approach to music shows in their songwriting, their original music effortlessly incorporating several different genres of music. At times showcasing their unique take on the soul and funk sounds of the 60’s and 70’s, then, straddling the line between rock band and pop band. The care the group takes in the arrangement of their original music is reflected in their cover choices, known for their dynamic recreations of classic songs by artists ranging from NIN to Black Sabbath and Rage Against the machine, illustrates why it is difficult to put the Dirty Revival in any one genre of music. On stage or in your record player, Dirty Revival will captivate you from the very first note and give you a musical experience you will never forget. http://www.dirtyrevival.com/ --- Pixie & The Partygrass Boys Pixie and The Partygrass Boys is composed of virtuoso musicians with varying musical backgrounds. Each member was a performing professional on the Utah music scene before they were drawn together by a common love of bluegrass and skiing in the Wasatch. They quickly amassed a vast catalog of edgy original songs and favorite dance covers that never fail to get the crowd moving. With a high energy sound coupled with a love for silly outfits and a good time, they travel the land spreading the gospel of whiskey, chickens, and fun for everyone.Partygrass isn't exactly bluegrass, or newgrass, or pop, or punk, or rock and roll. They fall somewhere in between it all, and that’s exactly how they like it. Drawing influence from the bluegrass roots of Appalachia and transporting it straight to the western edge of the Rockies, Pixie and the Partygrass Boys create a uniquely American sound. Inspired by landscapes from coast to coast, the group combines classical training with jazz, Broadway, pop-punk, and an unabashed love for having a damn good time. There is a feeling of unbridled life found in the wild corners of our world. In the expansive possibility of a mountain top, the chaotic familiarity of endless fields of snow, the roar of the ocean, or the solitary serenity of the most remote desert. It is in these places and moments that Pixie and The Partygrass Boys find inspiration, crafting music that channels the same highs, lows, and improvisational in-betweens. https://www.pixieandthepartygrassboys.com/ --- Sophia Dion 19-year-old Utah native Sophia Dion has only just begun to tap into her true artistic potential. Currently living in Los Angeles attending the University of Southern California (USC) majoring in Popular Music as a singer/songwriter. Sophia is surrounded by music, creating new songs and mastering her skills daily. With a sound inspired by the likes of artists crossing many genres, she likes to call her style alternative country-soul. Some of her biggest inspirations include Maren Morris, ZZ Ward, and Chris Stapleton. Growing up there was never a time where Sophia wasn’t singing. She began to play guitar at age 10 and from that point on never strayed away from pursuing a career in music. Sophia started off playing venues in her hometown of Park City, including events at the Sundance film festival and local summer concert series. From then on, she began to widen her horizons traveling to Nashville, New York, and Los Angeles playing shows and writing new music. Performing at places including the Netflix headquarters, YouTube Space LA, The Hotel Cafe, and Nashville’s iconic 3rd and Lindsley, to name a few. As well as, recording her originals and singing background vocals for artists with Atlantic Records. Sophia’s original music explores themes familiar to all teenagers. Her songs are inspired by her day to day life experiences and those around her. Writing is Sophia's true passion and she is currently working on writing songs for her future album, and finalizing her next single. Hoping to release new music by summer 2019. https://sophiadion.com
