Snowbasin Opening Day

Our opening day is Tuesday, November 20th. We are celebrating our earliest opening in recent history with a party! We hope you join us for a great first day on the slopes filled with lots of freshly groomed snow, live music, new menu items, social media giveaways and more! Needles Gondola, Middle Bowl Triple, and Little Cat Express will be spinning. Trails open will be Sweet Revenge, Porky Traverse, Middle Bowl Traverse, Bear Hollow, Snowshoe, School Hill, Powder Puff and terrain park features including 2 boxes, 2 rails, 1 bonk stall in Mini Orsons. Get in line early for a chance to win cool prizes prior to the lift spinning at 9:00 am. The first gondola guests will get lucky with some Snowbasin swag bags. We will have free cookies and hot cocoa samples on the plaza from 8:00 am - 9:30 am. There will be a DJ on the plaza playing tunes and leading us in a countdown to a start of an awesome season. Around lunchtime, the DJ will be spinning vibes on Earl's Patio and there will be delicious food will be available on Earl's Patio. Have a chance to win cool prizes throughout the day by tagging @snowbasinresort #snowbasinopeningday on social media. A winner will be chosen randomly every hour throughout the day. * Earl's Lodge Dining will be closed due to Thanksgiving Preparation. The Activities Desk will be open from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm for season pass pick-up and the restrooms will be available for the public. Food is available at Needles Lodge and on Earl's Patio.
