New for the 2017/18 Winter

As the first resort to establish a truly meaningful cap on day and season passes, Powder Mountain is pleased to announce a lower day pass cap to provide skiers and snowboarders an unprecedented experience on hill. 1,500 tickets are available daily. “We strive to maintain the uncrowded, wide open, adventurous experience Pow Mow is known for. The reduction in the day ticket cap proves that we are truly committed to Preserving the Pow!” said Mark Schroetel, General Manager of Powder Mountain Resort.

Last season, Powder Mountain became the largest lift accessible resort in North America, made possible by the addition of two new lifts adding 1,000 + acres of new terrain. During summer months, the resort’s trail crew cleared new trails and added over 50 acres of tree skiing terrain in Mary’s Bowl. Hippie Hill is now be accessible to guests via both Village and Mary’s Lift adding another 250 acres of terrain to explore.

Out with the old, in with the BLUE. This year Powder Mountain brings you a new line up of exciting brands and beverage choices when you visit the mountain. Pepsi Cola of Ogden, will bring their full portfolio of beverages to resort facilities, including Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Bai, Polar, Fiji, and Starbucks. Along with greater variety and healthier choices, Pepsi Cola also brings their industry leading marketing and events teams to help create a year-round calendar of fun family events and extreme activities associated with brands like Mountain Dew. Powder Mountain looks forward to a strong partnership with The Pepsi Posse events team, their ongoing commitment to community and the brands they represent. Pepsi Cola of Ogden is local and family owned since 1932, and part of the Admiral Beverage family since 1979.

Green Initiatives

Powder Mountain Resort is pleased to announce our continued partnerships with Mizu Water Bottles and POW (Protect Our Winters). Powder Mountain maintains a pledge to be 100% plastic water bottle free with the help of Mizu, who installed water stations last season in every lodge to promote the use of refillable water bottles. The Admiral Beverage Company/Pepsi will also reinforce our efforts in recycling plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Furthermore, Powder Mountain is pleased to help spread POW’s message to our guests. “Our snow comes from Mother Nature and we are 100% reliant on Her for our amazing powder. We strongly believe in POW’s educational outreach and lobbying efforts to protect our most cherished resource” said Schroetel.

As one the first resorts to cap day and season passes, Powder Mountain is a one of a kind resort hanging its hat on skier experience, adventure and an unprecedented mountain modern village development. With the addition of two new lifts last year, the throwback mom and pop style resort boasts the most skiable acreage in North America with 8,464 acres. Preserving the Pow Mow experience is made possible by capping day passes at 1,500 daily and adult season passes at 1,500 yearly, which allows for an average of three acres per skier.
