COPPER MOOSE FARM HOSTS FULL MOON HARVEST DINNER

Join five chefs and five wines for one amazing culinary night under the stars at Copper Moose Farm in Park City.

PARK CITY, Utah (August 19, 2015) — Join five chefs and five wines for one amazing culinary night under the stars at Copper Moose Farm in Park City.

The three-acre farm, home to the best organically and bio-dynamically grown vegetables and cut flowers in the state, is hosting an elegant Full Moon Harvest Dinner on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 6 to 11 p.m.

The event features Park City’s best chefs and wines from The Crimson Group, opening with summer cocktails by Just Organic Juices and appetizers by Copper Moose, Red Bicycle Breadworks, Beehive Cheese and Laziz Middle Eastern Spreads. Then wander the farm while enjoying Copper Moose’s self-guided tour before heading under the tent, where the chefs and wine experts will present their harvest-inspired creations.

Tickets cost $180 and are available online via the Copper Moose events page: http://CopperMooseFarm.com/events.

“This is a true celebration of everything local here in Park City,” Daisy Fair. “Park City is home to some of the best chefs and best food in the world — it’s high time we showcased the ingredients we can grow locally, responsibly and sustainably here, too.”

Copper Moose is committed to reconnecting people with food that can be grown in the Park City area. The farm harvests seasonal produce, herbs and flowers using crop rotation, cover crops, compost, organic soil amendments, biodynamic methods and, in winter, a 2,400-square-foot passive solar greenhouse.

Cooper Moose hosts events through the summer and fall — including a Tasty Tuesday series featuring local purveyors the last Tuesday of every month from 5 to 6 p.m. — plus a farm stand at 1285 Old Ranch Road and community supported agriculture, or CSA, for locals to take full advantage of the farm’s harvests.
