SAM 11 Under 30 Names Ski Utah's Hailey Klotz

Ski Utah's director of content was named one of Ski Area Management's industry up-and-comers under 30.

Salt Lake City, UT (July 12, 2020) — Each year, SAM Magazine profiles up-and-coming employees in their 20s who are rapidly making an impact in our industry. Nominated by their peers and coworkers, these selected individuals are bright and industrious up-and-comers who have the passion and fire that will ensure the success of mountain resorts across North America for years to come.

SAM Magazine named Ski Utah's very own Hailey Klotz as one of 2020's 11 under 30. As the director of content, Hailey oversees all photos, videos, blogs, and social media produced by Ski Utah.

Hailey Klotz has been at Ski Utah since she secured an internship there in her final year of college. Over several years, she worked her way up from communications intern to the role as content director. During her time at Ski Utah, Hailey has doubled the organization’s social media following and dramatically improved its email open rate. She also won the coveted Yeti of the Year, awarded each season to the first employee to ski all 15 resorts in the state. An avid skier, Hailey grew up in Boise, Idaho, where her family owned a ski shop. “I love being in the mountains,” says Hailey. Something she also loves: Deer Valley Resort’s chocolate chip cookies. “You want to get there when they are fresh out of the oven.”
