World Ski Awards Names Stein Eriksen Lodge as the United States' Best Ski Hotel

This is the 5th time in six years that the lodge has been honored with the award.

Park City, UT (November 25, 2019) — Stein Eriksen Lodge, Utah’s only Forbes Five-Star resort and spa and designated one of Forbes’ Most Luxurious Hotels in the World, maintains its distinguished status of “United States’ Best Ski Hotel” by the World Ski Awards. The Lodge earned the esteemed recognition in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018, and this year’s winners were just announced at the World Ski Awards Gala Ceremony in Kitzbühel, Austria on Saturday, November 23.

World Ski Awards is the only global initiative to recognize, reward and celebrate excellence in ski tourism, and its annual three-day event is the only time that the international leaders of the industry come together to exchange local knowledge, innovations, and principles of best practices on a global stage. Ski industry professionals and ski consumers cast their votes this past summer to decide which ski organizations are the leaders in their respective fields, ultimately naming Stein Eriksen Lodge as the industry’s best of 17 U.S. ski hotel finalists.

“Being named the U.S. Best Ski Hotel by our guests and industry peers is such a remarkable honor,” said Russ Olsen, CEO of Stein Eriksen Lodge. “On behalf of the Stein Eriksen Lodge family, we are grateful to work in this incredible industry and continue to provide the unparalleled luxury vacation experience our guests expect and deserve.”

Located mid-mountain at the world-renowned Deer Valley Resort, Stein Eriksen Lodge is known as one of the most revered resort destinations in the world. In addition to the prestigious United States’ Best Ski Hotel and World's Best Ski Hotel awards from the Ski Oscars, Stein Eriksen Lodge remains Utah's only Forbes Five-Star resort and spa. The Lodge also ranks highly as a World's Best Hotel from Travel + Leisure, #1 among the Top 30 Resorts in the West for 2019 from Condé Nast Traveler, and Top 40 Resorts in the Western U.S List. It has been named among Forbes Magazine's Top Ten Best Ski Resorts in North America, as well as accolades from Resorts & Great Hotels, Zagat, DiRoNA, Santé, and Wine Spectator, among many others.

World Ski Awards is the sister organization of World Travel Awards™, currently celebrating its 26th anniversary.
