Oktoberfest at Snowbird has grown to one of the largest festivals in Utah. Admission is always free, and the experience is always fun. Whether you head up with friends, family, or as a group work retreat, I can promise you a great time.
The music, the view, the weather, the shopping...everything is prime time during this part of the year. I’ve actually spoken with tons of friends that have spent multiple weekends returning up the canyon to see and do the experience again and again. There’s so much to take in!
Hit up the activities, take your kids down the Mountain Coaster, or send them on their way while you lounge. Bring a date or a bestie. Pick up your season pass! Relax on the Tram Club deck, or spend the entire weekend and enjoy the Cliff Lodge amenities. There’s no wrong way, other than not heading up at all.
Try your first shot ski, sample fine wines, and of course buy the souvenir beer mug to start an annual tradition and glassware collection.
My personal recommendation is to take the tram up to Hidden Peak and listen to the Alphorns. It’s breathtaking. For them and for you...and I’d be remiss to not mention the hiking and mountain biking. All the options are there waiting for you to plan your ideal day.
