Winter Star Party

Embrace the night and join Brian Head Resort and Cedar Breaks National Monument's "Dark Ranger Dave" for a star gazing party at Brian Head's Navajo Lodge on March 19th, from 7:00pm - 9:00 PM. The good folks at Cedar Breaks National Monument will provide the Rangers, telescopes, and all the expertise. Brian Head Resort provides the Navajo Lodge, and staffing for several positions, and the hot chocolate (probably everyone's favorite part). Star parties kick off with a laser tour of the constellations, followed by telescope viewing of deep-space objects. Telescopes are provided by rangers, but visitor are encouraged to bring their own as well! No need for reservations, just show up and dress warm! Be aware that Star Parties may be cancelled due to bad or cloudy weather. Event is Free!!
