Ski Utah Content Coordinator

Do you live and breathe storytelling, social media, and the mountains? Ski Utah is on the lookout for a creative and organized Content Coordinator to support our content production and distribution efforts. This role is essential in helping bring the Ski Utah brand to life across multiple digital platforms. Working closely with the Director of Content, you’ll assist in shaping how we engage with our audiences through social media, blog content, newsletters, podcasts, and more. If you’re someone who loves the outdoors, has a strong sense of visual and written storytelling, and can juggle multiple creative tasks at once, this role is for you.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage with our online community across all of Ski Utah’s social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and mentions with the brand’s voice and tone.
  • Plan, produce, shoot and edit video content as needed using Adobe Premiere or a comparable editing platform.
  • Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of social media content, including Instagram Reels, static posts, Stories, ads and more.
  • Help manage and update the content calendar while staying current on industry and platform trends, applying insights to elevate Ski Utah’s digital presence.
  • Proofread and review outgoing content, including blog posts, email campaigns, and social captions to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze social media and blog performance; create regular reports with actionable insights for the team.
  • Oversee the production of the Last Chair podcast—from coordinating episode logistics and writing blog recaps to designing artwork and managing distribution.
  • Draft, format, and distribute the Weekly Stoke email newsletter every other week.
  • Organize and maintain Ski Utah’s digital asset library, including photo and video files across internal hard drives and cloud systems.
  • Collaborate with team members, athletes, influencers, and partners to uncover new content opportunities and repurpose existing materials for fresh storytelling.
  • Stay curious and forward-thinking, bringing new ideas to the table that align with our brand and mission.
  • Assist with the management of blog, athlete, and ambassador programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in digital content creation, social media, marketing and communications.
  • Expert skier or snowboarder (must be able to ski).
  • Proficient with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Capcut, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social and similar tools.
  • Basic Microsoft Office or Google Suite experience.

 

Preferred Skills & Experiences:

  • Strong storytelling skills; both written and visual.
  • Experience capturing and editing short-form video for social.
  • Comfortable working across departments and with outside creators.
  • Great at collaborating, taking feedback, and working toward shared goals.
  • Self-starter with good problem-solving instincts and proactive about finding new content opportunities.
  • Solid attention to detail and able to juggle priorities under deadlines.
  • Any tourism experience is a plus.
