Patrick Costelllo

The professional path traveled by North Carolina native and Ski Utah Operations Manager Patrick Costello is one any outdoorsy adventurer would covet. Since he graduated from Appalachian State University in 2014, Patrick has taught English in Asia, organized biking and hiking tours across the U.S. and helped people realize front-side and heel-side turns as a snowboard instructor. He joined the Ski Utah staff in September 2024, attracted by a reputation, as he described, for “getting a lot done while having fun along the way.” Now, when not taking care of Ski Utah’s daily office operations or riding his snowboard, Patrick can be found shoveling rink snow as a member of Utah Hockey Club’s Ice Crew; chasing the puck on his rec league hockey team, the Ghost Pirates; or cheering on one of his favorite North Carolina sports teams, like the Duke Blue Devils and Hurricanes NHL hockey team.
