The Board helps guide the association's long-term direction and represents a broad cross-section of Utah's ski and snowboard industry.

Nomination and election

Each spring, Ski Utah members in good standing can submit their name, or someone else's, for candidacy. The current board approves the slate before ballots go to membership in May. Results are announced at the annual membership meeting in June.

  • Write-in candidates are accepted
  • Members may petition to be added to the ballot per the bylaws process

Board expectations

Directors attend seven meetings per year, support the mission and strategic direction, and represent the industry professionally. Directors who miss multiple unexcused meetings may forfeit board status.
