This is it! Finally, the storm we’ve been waiting for! We haven’t seen a storm of this magnitude in Park City in a very, very long time. The current storm dubbed winter storm #Ferus by the Weather Channel is just absolutely clobbering the entire state of Utah. The only thing different about this storm was the flow actually favored the Park City Resorts! Usually Little Cottonwood Canyon gets the best snow and this morning they were cursed with only 12” over night (ha ha ha) . Storm totals are just getting ridiculous over in the Park City area. As of 5am on Tuesday morning Deer Valley was reporting the following...
The best part about it, it’s not over yet!!! The forecast calls for additional heavy snow, and I’m not talking inches, we are talking feet!
So obviously when I woke up this morning at 5am I had a full on powder panic session, though I was relieved to see so much snow in my backyard. Today was one of those days there was no need to make to the trek over to Little Cottonwood. Today was the day to ski in your backyard. Deer Valley just happens to be down the block from my condo. Watch and enjoy!

Powderhound Matt, your right it's awesome in PC. Just don't come to PCMR because nothing is open. Jupiter Bowl, McConkeys, Pioneer, Thanes, Motherlode and many more all closed. They opened Crescent chair so they could ride you over the most incredible powder fields you've ever seen.....that are not open. This place is a joke. They say dangerous conditions and high winds, but Deer Valley has 17 of 21 lifts running. The ski patrol says they are clearing the mountain, but I hear no bombs going off. They don't seem to care about loyal customers. Very sad.
