Snowbird comments:
Good morning! It’s your once-weekly Snow Reporter, Jake, sharing what you should know for a Saturday of skiing and riding at The Bird. Today's forecast calls for sunny skies, with a high near 44. West winds will blow 2 to 6 mph. No new snow to report overnight, but the conditions are still super fun! Ever wondered what it would be like to experience spring Surf Season conditions in December? Before it starts to cool off and snow returns (the long-range forecast looks promising), come up for some soft and playful conditions. It's the perfect occasion to take a few laps and then take a break on the patio of The Nest, Snowbird's stunning new mid-mountain restaurant and lodge. There will be a DJ playing live music this afternoon, you don't want to miss it. Later today is Highly Decorated, with the tree-lighting ceremony on the Plaza Deck starting at 4:30 pm. Come check it out! The Tram, Gadzoom, Wilbere, Chickadee and the Chickadee Conveyor will be running at 9 am, conditions permitting. Please remember that early-season conditions do exist. Ski and ride with caution and stay in control. Beginner terrain is available off the Chickadee Lift. Give me the Bird!
