Now that kids are back in school, temps are dropping and the first signs of colorful leaves are appearing high up in the mountains, we can focus on what we're really all here for—WINTER. As Utah's resorts gear up for another season, we've been doing our snow dances, praying to Ullr and sleeping in our ski gear in anticipation of another stellar season shredding The Greatest Snow on Earth®. Below you'll find opening dates for the 2022–23 season, including snow report information and links to uphill travel policies. Until then, get your booty in shape or visit a ski swap for deals on gear.
For uphill policy information (we see you go-getters!) visit our dedicated uphill travel/backcountry skiing information page. Please remember to always stay safe while skiing early season and venturing into the backcountry. An amazing resource for education and information is the Utah Avalanche Center.
Please note that all opening dates are conditions permitting and subject to change.

You should consider a story on the newest growth sector in the Wintersports World...SkiBiking. The American SkiBike Association is based now in Park City. This once outlawed activity has new products, industry guidelines, and is allowed at half the resorts in Utah, (115 resorts nationwide). 2 Manufacturers are based in Utah. We can take you out for a demo ride and help you create a fun piece about the sport.

Totally agree Jim! I know that rob@bbislandmedia.com did a pretty sick edit with Sno-go... and the stuff that the TNGNT posse up at Brighton has been posting is next-level!
