Why do we all love to ski and ride? The responses are many, but one thing's for sure, our sport is characterized by just that. . . a colorful cast of characters. We've all shared a long chairlift ride with one of skiing's many characters. Here's a compilation of 10 Ski Personalities. Which personality is yours? Who should be added to the list?
Next time you're out on the slopes, whether you're in Utah or Vermont, skiing deep powder or groomers, you're sure to run into The 80's Guy and The Gear Head and The Old Guy and that's what makes our sport so great.

Awesome post. Love the list of personalities. You forgot the "Park Rat." The kid that kills it in the park, but can't ride powder typically.

I believe you've missed an important character.......
The Foreigner
Strike up a conversation with this character, and you will be transported to Ends of the Earth Mountains, all while being mesmerized by the cool accent.
Through their tales of adventure, you will find yourself skiing ranges such as th Alps, the Himalayas, the Andes, and maybe even Mounts Fiji and Kilimanjaro, among others.
After the tales are told, and you near the top of the lift, be sure to ask the following question:
Of all the places you have experienced, who has the best snow? And without exception, their answer will always be:
"Utah......YES! Utah has the Greatest Snow on Earth!!!"
