Beaver Mountain Opens with Sun and Snow

By Ride Utah Dec 21, 2011
Beaver Mountain, aka ‘Ski The Beav’ is family run for the 62nd year in a row.

The Seeholzer family welcomed back skiers and snowboarders for the 2011/12 winter season. This winter welcomes many improvements to Beaver, as the Little Beaver double chair was replaced this summer with the new Little Beaver Triple which offers a longer and gentler run for beginner riders. With early storms in December, enough snow stuck around to open Harrys Dream and the Face Lift chair on opening day.

Beaver Mountain, aka ‘Ski The Beav’, celebrates their 62nd year in the family-run business. Conditions couldn’t have been better for the locals that came migrating from Utah, Wyoming and Idaho. The snow was light and deep from top to bottom, with the sun shinning down from above the haze in the valley. So whether you come up for the first time exploring Marge's Chair or to explore the backcountry please remember Beaver has always been about family traditions, community and skiing!
