"Skiing is life. Everything is just details." - Gin Chao
Gin Chao moved to the US with $80 in his pocket. Despite his father’s disapproval of spending his days skiing, Gin was able to pursue his passion for telemark skiing in Utah with the success of his business, Lone Pine Bakery, and prove to his father that you can pursue more than one passion in life.
On an average day, Gin and his 15 employees serve delicious pastries and desserts to about 2,000 people. You'll find his goods at restaurants and coffee shops throughout the Salt Lake Valley and at his location in Sandy, UT.
A few of our favorite local cafes that carry Gin's tasty treats include Alpha Coffee, Coffee & Cocoa, Alta Java at Alta Ski Area, Garden Cafe, Salt Lake Roasting, Cafe Nori, Honest Abes and Sugarhouse Coffee.
