The 2013-14 season is winding down, but before the mercury rises, let's remember winter. Here's a highlight of Ski Utah's favorite moments from the last seven months.

Ski Utah just can't get enough of George Jedenoff, a 96½ year old skier from Oakland, California. If you haven't heard his story, check out the full video for inspiration on how to stay active, healthy, and happy later in life.

The weather was good and the snow was deep this past December, so good in fact it was coined Deepcember. Take a peek at this video for some frosty turns and a snow report given by Ski Utah's own Luke Ratto.

The end of January in Utah delivered a plethora of storms impacting the area. Snow totals in just two weeks were over six feet, putting smiles on the faces of skiers and snowboarders alike. See the full gallery here.

Finally feeling good about the skiing skills you've perfected all season? Not for long. You might want to check ego of yours at the door after seeing these pictures of nine year-old Caden Gennerman ripping it up at Snowbird. We need more kids like this!

Fitzroy is Alta's newest little ski safety buddy. This little yellow lab will grow up in a culture of snow with his Alta Ski Patrol handler, Adam Naisbitt and someday be called upon as an active member of the patrol team. But for now, melting hearts is his best trick. Soak up all the cuteness in the full gallery here, because who doesn't love puppies?!

Disney was in town last winter filming Cloud 9a great family film about snowboarding at BrightonSolitude and Park City Mountain Resort. Rent it for yourself and enjoy a family friendly movie filled with great riding!

 

Because a hearty burger is a skier's best friend, and one local burger drew quite the attention this winter. The Cotton Bottom Inn, home of the garlic burger is a must if you call yourself a fan of all things meat. But hurry on down, this treat may not be around forever.
