Outdoors, otherwise known as the Mountain Park, the terrain has been thoughtfully constructed to help athletes smoothly translate the skills they’ve learned indoors to a snowy setting. For example, the Start Park is where first-timers begin their Woodward adventure. The terrain has been manipulated to feature slight contours and banked turns to teach proper technique and control. The carefully designed terrain is like nothing else in Utah and provides a seamless introduction to the sport, making learning both comfortable and fun for all ages. When a student or guest is ready, they can step it up a notch. Just gaze up the hill at the looming halfpipe and you’ll begin to understand what is possible at Woodward.

Pro Tip: Note that in the summer, the perfectly groomed slopes melt into a freeride mountain biking utopia, so be sure to visit Woodward in the summer months too!

The fun doesn't quit at Woodward when the snow disappears. The the finely-sculpted slopes at Woodward melt to reveal a compact yet fun network of progressive trails for mountain bikes and BMX riders. Woodward's trails were built by the prestigious Alpine Bike Parks group and they link into the Park City trail network. Start with the pump track and build up to the bigger dirt jumps, tabletops and features on the black and blue flow trails. The bike trails are also served by the Hot Laps chairlift.

The snow banks also melt to reveal 2 outdoor concrete skate parks designed by California Skateparks. Cross the bridge from the Action Sports Hub to discover the W Plaza the only skate park in Utah on a mountain featuring a Euro gap, bumps, rails and steps. The Central Plaza is just south of the Hub and contains every type of feature a skater could dream to ride.
