More Early Season Snow!

This summer,  Adam “Bagel Boy” jumped at the opportunity to be a part of the Ski Utah Powderhound Blog Team. Since Adam joined the team, he has been knocking the ball out of the park with each and every blog post. Basically, Adam has forced me to step up my game! So while I’ve been quiet for a while, this winter I hope to bring you guys incredible aerial views of the Wasatch Backcountry from my newly purchased drone!

Basically, Adam has forced me to step up my game!

These little machines are pretty incredible. The true test will be seeing how they perform  at 10,000 feet, with a stiff north-west wind and temperatures in the single digits. As yesterday's cold front approached the Wasatch, I decided this would be the perfect time to take her out on her maiden voyage. I mean what could go wrong? Snow squalls, gusty winds, cold temperatures the plan was fail safe.

Well, sure enough everything worked out and I was left with some pretty cool footage. At one point I even spotted a moose bedding down in advance of the approaching snowstorm.

Here is the footage I shot in and around Brighton. Enjoy!
