Ski with a ranger and snow good enough to eat!

The Cottonwood Canyons have a great free program to learn about wildlife, the watershed and the environment. It's called Ski with a ranger. And with all the great FEET of snow we've received...Emily thinks it's good enough to eat!

For the past 4 weeks, I've been doing stories on getting started to ski or snowboard.  This week I've taken Bren out to Ski with a Ranger at Alta.  Once the kids or you can get yourself on/off the chairlift and are ready for the green slopes, this is a great program to educate both you and the kids.  From learning about wildlife, checking out animal tracks to our watershed, it is a free program offered on weekends and holidays.  Check it out as we joined Jessie:

It is also fun to see "behind the scenes" shooting with our photographer:

And as predicted, it dumped in Utah last weekend!  So, I needed to toot my horn..just a little.  With week number 3 of lessons slated for the big "day after" at Deer Valley, Emily proved...this snow is good enough to eat!!

And Brennan proved it is possible to jump all the way down the mountain:
