SNOW DAY

By Shug Feb 18, 2009

Today was the last day of my nine straight ski days in a row cheap vacation and I was determined to ski my last day. I started up the road about 8:45 a.m. and made it to Powder Mountains parking lot about 10:00 a.m. There was so much snow on the road you wouldn't know you were on it except for the vehicle in front of you. I took one run with the ski patrol and decided that was enough. They decided to close about 1:30 p.m. Ski area patrons don't realize how hard the ski patrol works on days like this so you can have safe stable powder to ride in. They put their lives on the line for others for little money. To me they are snow saints. Thank God and Powder Mountain ski patrol we all made it home safe today. Next time you see a ski Patrol person stop and tell them you appreciate what they do for you! THANK YOU POWDER MOUNTAIN SKI PATROL AND AVALANCHE SAFETY TEAM!
