My expectations of today weren't very high.I don't know if I was tired from hiking so much to find good powder last week. I'm not complaining because I did find uncut powder even last week. I guess my motivation was down. I slept in with my husband which I never do after a new storm. I arrived at the cat and decided to hike instead of ride. I ran into a good friend and he said he'd hike with me so we headed up to James Peak together. He wanted to go down James Peak but their were just to many tracks for me, Maybe five or six so I decided I go to the Shug'r Bowl. This was one o;clock p.m on 2/7/09. There was only one track! I had a great untracked line. Here's the picture to prove it an hour later. There's one more track in it .
This was my scenery on the way home. What can I say my expectations were surpassed.
