Beaver Mountain's Top 10

Loveable Beaver Mountain Resort is a throw-back resort, with skiing at its core and the same incredible family running the show since 1939. There's plenty of reason to celebrate Beaver as the resort turns 75 years old this spring. Chances are, you've never skied, let alone heard of this mountain and we want to change that. It's time to "Ski the Beav" and you'll thank us later for turning you onto a true gem in the ski industry.

Here's a list of the Top 10 Things You Didn't Know about Beaver Mountain:

  1. Beaver Mountain sports an all volunteer ski patrol staff.
  2. Beaver Mountain is only 2 miles from the Idaho Boarder.

  5. Was the first resort in Utah to allow snowboarding.

  8. In the 1950s the first person at the t-bar lift on that particular day would wear the ski patrol vest for the day.
