Enjoy the footage I shot Tuesday morning above Deer Valley. I'd guess that there is a solid foot of snow on the ground at the current time and that's not even the best part. The first Utah resort opens this Friday!
Obviously, my boy Evan over at Wasatch Snow Forecast has been pretty optimistic with the upcoming forecast and honestly, I can't see a single reason to disagree with him. While I don't see one huge "epic dump" in the forecast, I do see some things that are just as exciting. For the longest time we've been looking for the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel to put an end to our endless summer. Personally, I believe those days are behind us now. Every single medium-range forecast model is consistently pointing towards a progressively colder and stormier pattern for the foreseeable future. Now mind you, most of these models forecast out about 10-16 days. I don't know about you, but after the fall we've just had, I'd be thrilled if this forecast verifies!
