From breakfast to the Aerial Tram to snowcat skiing within 45 minutes, Snowbird Mountain Guides offers the best ease of access to backcountry, powder skiing. Get the most out of your time in the mountains. *All guided trips include avalanche transceiver.
Standard Tour: 7:30 am - 1 pm, $450/person
Includes full-day lift ticket, breakfast and orientation at The Forklift, pre-public guided skiing in Mineral Basin and guided backcountry snowcat skiing. Ski terrain includes the majestic Mary Ellen Gulch, rolling terrain and aspen trees of Miller Hill and the north-facing slopes of Pagan Basin. Advanced/expert skiers and riders recommended. *Meeting time is at 7:30 am at The Forklift at the Snowbird Center, Plaza Deck (Level 3).
Private Tour: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, $6,000 (up to 12 people)
Includes everything from the Standard tour and adds a custom lunch in the field and nearly 3 hours more time in your own private snowcat! Ski terrain includes the majestic Mary Ellen Gulch, rolling terrain and aspen trees of Miller Hill and the north-facing slopes of Pagan Basin. Advanced/expert skiers and riders recommended. *Meeting time is at 7:30 am at The Forklift at the Snowbird Center, Plaza Deck (Level 3).
Equipment
Modern powder ski technology is recommended. Equipment is available at a discount rate the day prior through Snowbird Sports. All participants should be advanced skiers or riders in physical condition for high altitude exertion in variable snow and weather conditions. Participants must wear a beacon, which will be provided.
Cancellation Policy
All refunds are subject to a $50 per reservation processing fee. Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to your reservation date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days or less are not subject to refund. Snowbird reserves the right to cancel any reservation due to conditions beyond our control. If Snowbird cancels for any reason, you will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
