• Created in collaboration with Wasatch Brewery, PCMR’s Golden Anniversary Ale will be available at all of the resort’s five on-mountain restaurants and in Park City stores
• The light American Brown Ale uses four types of malted barley and three varieties of hops
• PCMR celebrates its Golden Anniversary throughout the 2013-14 winter season

Park City, Utah (November 26, 2013) – Park City Mountain Resort introduces its Golden Anniversary Ale, a signature beer created in collaboration with Wasatch Brewery and celebrating PCMR’s 50^th anniversary season.

PCMR’s Golden Anniversary Ale is available on tap at all of the resort’s five on-mountain restaurants. Bottles are available for purchase at select retail locations throughout the Park City area.

“We couldn’t imagine many better ways for guests to celebrate our 50^th anniversary than by relaxing with our own signature ale,” said Deirdra Walsh, Director of Food & Beverage at Park City Mountain Resort. “We’re proud to celebrate half a century of skiing and snowboarding in one of America’s great ski towns, and thrilled to have this unique beer to celebrate with.

The Golden Anniversary Ale is a light American Brown Ale and uses four types of malted barley, three from the Intermountain region and one from Germany that provides the ale’s rich, dark color. Its distinctly hoppy aroma and flavor comes from a combination of German Magnum, Cascade and Amarillo hops. The Golden Anniversary Ale stays in fermentation for a period of 14-17 days prior to being filtered and packaged.  

The Ale debuted to the public at Park City Mountain Resort’s 50^th anniversary season’s Opening Day on November 23, 2013 and will be available on the mountain and in stores throughout the 2013-14 winter season.
