Snowbasin Resort has added more family fun and culinary adventures to their summer activities

SNOWBASIN, UT – Snowbasin Resort will be opening Father’s Day Weekend, with exciting new family oriented additions to their already popular summer activities. Snowbasin Resort will be open for operations Saturdays and Sundays throughout the summer staring June 14th. Enjoy scenic Gondola Rides to Needles Lodge, mountain bike and hike on 26 miles of trails, go on one of the free guided tours, play some Frisbee Golf on the 9-hole course, enjoy brunch at the top of the gondola, explore your cravings at a themed mountain top dinner, or come to a free outdoor concert in the beautiful high alpine environment.

New family oriented additions to the activities this summer include a playground, a euro bungee, and bounce houses for the kids. These new attractions will further enhance the overall family experience at Snowbasin Resort.

Also new this summer are the ‘Dining Discovery: Explore your Cravings’ events, which will replace the weekly Saturday night dining, with 6 events planned throughout the summer. The Dining Discovery: Culinary Expedition events will be an adventure into a designated cuisine, including Mediterranean, Caribbean, Indian & Curry, and Farm to Table to name a few. These top of the gondola dinners will be an exciting and unique experience. This new Dining Discovery concept will showcase the award winning culinary expertise at Snowbasin Resort.
“Our goal is to take an already incredible reputation for quality cuisine and sculpt it to enhance the experience for our guests,” says Peter Baker, Director of Food and Beverage. He continues, “Come take a culinary adventure, try something new or indulge in your favorite cuisine, either way, these Dining Discovery events are not to be missed!"

Snowbasin has also reinvented their Mountain Top Brunch, turning it into a Dining Discovery experience and making it the premier Sunday morning brunch spot for miles around. A scenic ride on the Needles Express Gondola to the top of the mountain sets the tone for the decadent and beautiful brunch experience at Needles Lodge. While overlooking the breathtaking views of the valley, enjoy all you can eat delicious brunch items.

Snowbasin Resort’s popular free concert series, Blues, Brews & BBQ will be back again this summer every Sunday with both nationally touring artists as well as regionally touring acts. Snow cones and soft serve ice cream will now be served along with your favorite BBQ items and local Utah craft beers. With the new children’s oriented additions, the little ones will be occupied for hours while mom and dad enjoy the music and the fresh air. Bring your blankets, chairs and sunglasses to enjoy the afternoon of good food, fun, and music for the whole family!
