Snowbasin, UT – August 11, 2015 – Experience a traditional Cajun family style Seafood Boil at Snowbasin Resort on August 29, 2015. This Dining Discovery experience will take place at Needles Lodge at 6:30pm. Guest will enjoy a gondola ride to the top of the mountain where they will be greeted with a live Zydeco band and a signature Hurricane cocktail.
The family style dinner will be served in ‘buckets’ with crawfish, head-on shrimp, lobster tails, boiled potatoes and corn cobettes along with compound chili butter, clarified butter and lemons, creole mayonnaise, homemade Louisiana hot sauce, and cayenne pepper sauce to accompany the seafood. Cheddar corn bread, red beans and rice, okra creole, creole roast potatoes, and steamed asparagus round out the meal. Authentic desserts include sweet potato pie, frosted banana bars, mud cake, and peach cobbler with homemade whipped cream.
