WHAT: Riverhorse On Main, one of Park City’s most acclaimed restaurants, is proud to present the second annual “Chef Wars!” a benefit next month for Friends of Animals Utah, Park City’s favorite animal rescue group. On Sunday, May 17, Handle's Briar Handly, Sundance Resort's Mark Peterson, and High West's Vanessa Chapman will square off in a culinary battle royale. Local-celebrity judges will crown the winner, and Park City's own Jennifer Harman will emcee. Guests will also get in on the action: Three sous-chef positions for the competition will be auctioned at the start of the contest, letting amateur foodies try thier hands working alongside some of Park City;s most skiiled professional chefs. All proceeds from the event wil go toward Friends of Animals Utah, a "no-kill" animal rescue group that has saved more than 12,00 animals' lives in the past 25 years.
