Snowbasin, UT – December 2016 – Spend the holidays at Snowbasin Resort with their annual Christmas Eve Celebration on Saturday, December 24th. Get pictures with Santa, decorate gingerbread cookies, delight in a Christmas Eve dinner and enjoy the Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade and Fireworks show on City Hill. In honor of the 50th anniversary of ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’, a costume contest will be held with a “Whoville” theme.
Schedule of Events:
4:00pm– 5:00pm: Gingerbread Cookie Decorating in the Learning Center
4:30pm– 7:30pm: Christmas Eve Dinner in Earl’s Lodge. The server will also be open for hot cocoa and refreshments, and the Cinnabar will be open for hose that need a little more of a pick-me-up.
5:00pm: Santa arrives on Earl’s Plaza by sleigh
5:00pm – 6:30pm: Photos with Santa in the Grizzly Center
5:00pm– 7:00pm: S’mores on the Plaza
5:30pm: Costume Contest on the Plaza
6:30pm: Famous Torchlight Parade on City Hill
6:45pm: Fireworks
