PARK CITY, Utah (December 2016) — The Eating Establishment on Main Street, bought by The Edison Alley Group and “Modern Family” star and Bar X and Beer Bar owner Ty Burrell last spring, is celebrating its grand re-opening and has launched its new menu.
This isn’t a mere facelift: Once known mostly for its all-day breakfast fare, famed skillets and warm family vibe, the restaurant has its sights set on becoming Park City’s new destination for expert craft cocktails – where every ingredient, including the mixers, is locally sourced and made in-house – and phenomenal craft coffee expertly sourced; ground and served by knowledgeable baristas.
And with a special social dining license allowing alcohol to be served as early as 10 a.m. – the only one on Main Street – it will be Park City’s new spot for boozy brunch.
“We’re going to keep serving the breakfast and lunch that so many Park City locals and visitors have come to love – me included – but there’s definitely room in this town for top-quality coffee and truly outstanding cocktails,” Jeff Bernard said. “We want to be the place to get a drink on Main Street.”
The Eating Establishment will continue serving its beloved breakfast fare, but it will also have new menus for dinner, cocktails and coffees. The space has also undergone a renovation, with one half now a floor-to-ceiling bar. Every ingredient in the cocktails will be homemade, all the way down to the ice machine, which produces ice with less air in it, keeping it from melting and diluting whatever spirit or concoction guests are sipping.
“We have our sights set on creating the best cocktail program in the state, and that means paying attention truly every detail,” Barnard said. “We’re bringing that same meticulous approach to our coffees, too.”
