Park City, Utah (July, 2015) – Event organizers announced today the return of the Autumn Aloft Hot Air Balloon Festival scheduled to take flight in Park City September 19-20, 2015. “Last year’s event proved there is an appetite for a balloon event in Park City with larger than expected crowds,” explains event organizer Monty Coates. “We are bringing more balloons to the 2015 event and improving the Saturday evening event to provide a more visually appealing experience for spectators.” “Last year’s Autumn Aloft energized the balloon pilot community,” says Mike Bauwens, Autumn Aloft Balloonmeister. “We’ve continued to see interest from pilots around the world express interest in attending the event.” More than 30 years ago, Park City resident Gene Moser and a group of local hot air balloon pilots set out to create the classiest hot air balloon festival in the world. Their idea was to create a balloon festival that reflected the free-spirited, anything-goes exuberance of Park City; Autumn Aloft was the brainchild of these passionate balloonists. Autumn Aloft is scheduled for September 19 & 20, 2015 in Park City, Utah. The event will take place at locations throughout Park City. 24 balloonists will be invited to the event.
