Mine Shaft Brewing Takes Investors to The Masters Tournament

Mine Shaft Brewing Company, Park City’s start-up craft beer company, is offering a trio of once-in-a-lifetime perks for the next three investors who kick in $40,000 each for the brewery’s Series A financing.

PARK CITY, Utah (March 24, 2015) — Time to tee up.

Mine Shaft Brewing Company, Park City’s start-up craft beer company, is offering a trio of once-in-a-lifetime perks for the next three investors who kick in $40,000 each for the brewery’s Series A financing.

Fast-acting investors will earn a trip to the Masters Tournament at Augusta National, including tickets to the practice rounds and tournament badges for the entire event, plus a stay in a luxurious three-bedroom condo just minutes from the country club. Meals will be covered, and investors will also be able to play a round at nearby Sage Valley, one of the highest-rated and most exclusive golf courses in the world.

Each investor will also get to pocket a limited Mine Shaft Brewing Investor Black Card, offering benefits for a lifetime.

But act quickly – the deal will be gone in a matter of days.

“This is a phenomenal opportunity, many corporations and individuals would spend much more for a trip like this. With Mine Shaft, they get to enjoy the trip of a lifetime and have a potential huge upside as investors of Mine Shaft Brewing,” founder Tim Nemeckay said. “The Masters is one of the holy grails of sports: hugely respected, beautifully crafted and a showcase for people at the top of their game who have spent their lives perfecting their passion. In many respects, it precisely reflects what we’re striving to accomplish here at Mine Shaft.

The brewery and its expert team of master brewers earned more than $650,000 in seed funding in an EquityNet crowdfunding campaign. They are now raising $9.4 million in Series A financing from investors.

“We were overwhelmed by the help and support we received from other crowdfunders and from EquityNet itself,” Nemeckay said. “Our passion is turning simple, pure ingredients into traditional beers from around the world with a creative twist – clearly, that’s resonated with a lot of people.”

Like Park City itself, the team at Mine Shaft is rich in history, yet full of surprises. True brewing pioneers, they’ve worked with beer – and specifically, craft-beers – since the late-1980s, helping forge the art of craft beer in America. They have produced beloved and awarding-winning brews, many of which have stood the test of time and become part of the American landscape – much like the Wasatch Range itself.

Mine Shaft plans to open with more than 60,000 barrels capacity from day-one, plus a world-class restaurant, both located in Kimball Junction.
