This Saturday, more than 200 Park City employees will gather to assist with various water quality projects along East Canyon Creek and the Weber River in and around Park City. Working in partnership with Swaner EcoCenter, Trout Unlimited and the East Canyon Watershed Committee, the volunteers will represent a portion of 2,000 Vail Resorts employees giving back that day in multiple states.
WHAT:
EpicPromise Day is Vail Resorts’ annual company-wide volunteer day. Whether supporting water quality projects or forging new trails for public use, EpicPromise Day allows employees of all ages (and their friends and family, too!) to rally around a local community need. WHY:
Over the last six years, Vail Resorts has consistently demonstrated a commitment to sustainability through environmental and community support. Through EpicPromise, the company contributes $7.8 million in charitable donations to 250 nonprofit partners, organizes 20,000 hours of company-sponsored employee volunteer time, and executes on a variety of environmental initiatives each year.
WHEN:
Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
