PARK CITY, Utah – November 20, 2020 — Park City Mountain is now open for the 2020-21 winter season. The resort opened both base areas this morning with 257 acres of terrain, seven runs and a terrain park. The traditional opening day package included runs off of Payday and First Time lifts at the Park City Mountain Village and runs off of Saddleback and High Meadow lifts out of Canyons Village.
In addition to following all local regulations, Park City Mountain is requiring face coverings, allowing for physical distancing (including on lifts and gondolas), and managing access to the mountain to give guests the space they need. Additionally, the resort is operating with enhanced cleaning measures, employee health screenings and safety training, cashless transactions, and revisions to regularly offered programs and services. Learn more about these safety procedures here.
Park City Mountain will continue to make snow at every opportunity, as weather and conditions permit, to expand terrain and lift access. On-mountain reservations are required for mountain access and current availability is updated online here. Week-of reservations are released on Wednesdays at 2 p.m. MT for the next nine days.
Lift tickets will be limited this season, so the best way for guests to access the mountains is with a pass. The Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic Day Pass and entire suite of pass products, each providing unbeatable value, go off sale Sunday, Dec. 6. For the greatest value and access, guests should lock in their pass sooner than later. Prices increase Nov. 22, with the Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass both going up $100. Visit epicpass.com.
