DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (June 5, 2024) – The International Federation of Skiing & Snowboarding (FIS) has officially confirmed 11 FIS World Cups in the United States for the 2024-25 season. Among the competition sites includes Deer Valley Resort, the Official Proposed Freestyle Skiing Venue for the 2034 Winter Olympic Games. The resort will host the 26th Intermountain Health Freestyle International Feb. 6 – 8, 2024.
PARIS, France (July 24, 2024)—The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has named Salt Lake City, Utah, the host of the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games during its 142nd IOC Session at Palais des Congrès de Paris. More than a decade in the making, the Games will return to Utah after 32 years and will be held for the fifth time in America.
