Snowbasin, Utah – May 2016 – Snowbasin Resort has announced the lineup of nationally and regionally touring artists and bands that will fill the mountain air with music every Sunday afternoon this summer for the fourth annual Blues, Brews & BBQ Free Summer Concert Series. Free, live music will rock Earl’s Lodge patio and lawn every Sunday 12:30pm – 6:00pm from June 12 through October 9, 2016. Three bands will perform each week, playing everything from blues to funk and Americana to rock and roll, offering a family-friendly environment everyone will enjoy.
The 2016 Blues, Brews & BBQ concert series will kick off with Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe on June 12 and the fun will continue all summer long with crowd favorites and powerhouse bands like MarchFourth! (June19), Blitzen Trapper (July 10), Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds (July 17), James McMurtry (August 7), and Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real (September 4). “In the past we have always had a great lineup but you could definitely look over the lineup and pick out the highlights, I think this year week in and week out we have big time national headliners and crowd favorites. Basically this year there aren’t any shows anybody is going to want to miss,” says Jason Ostler, Dining and Entertainment Manager. The full 2016 line up will be announced on May 11.
Award-winning BBQ will also be available in Earl’s Lodge with favorites like the Blues & Brews Burger, House Smoked Beef Brisket and Uncle Pete’s Loaded Fries. A variety of local beer will be on tap on Earl’s Patio. Spend the morning hiking or biking and enjoy the afternoon listening to free live music in the mountains. Needles Gondola will run 10:00am – 6:00pm Saturdays and Sundays starting June 11.
