Snowbasin, UT – March 20, 2018 – Snowbasin Resort is excited to host the Second Annual Snowbasin Avalanche Dog Fundraiser on Wednesday, March 28th at Alleged in Downtown Ogden. Doors open at 6PM. Donations are encouraged at the door. There will be a silent auction with great prizes including season passes at Snowbasin Resort, New World Distillery items, local artists’ work, a Wildcat Triple Chair, Mountain Khaki items, and more. Plus, there will be live music from The Johnny Utahs. If guests are under 21 or can’t make it to Alleged, they can head to Lucky Slice on 25th Street or head to Zucca’s on 25th and mention Avalanche Dog Fundraiser when buying dinner. Lucky Slice and Zucca’s will be donating a portion of the sales from that evening. All proceeds will benefit Wasatch Backcountry Rescue (WBR), a local non-profit organization that provides response teams for avalanche rescues and educational courses. They have been instrumental in the success of Snowbasin Resort’s avalanche search and rescue dog program. The avalanche dogs will be present to show their appreciation for all the donations.
