Snowmaking Begins at Park City Mountain

The trails are turning white at Park City Mountain thanks to an early October snowfall and a fleet of snowmaking equipment at full force.

PCMR Snow Making 2019Park City, UT (October 24, 2019) — How can it be both a bluebird day and snowing at Park City Mountain at the same time? Thanks to favorably cold temperatures, Park City Mountain has officially fired up its snowmaking system in preparation for the 2019-20 winter season! The mountain's expert snowmakers are hard at work, and along with the natural snowfall from earlier this October, the trails are beginning to turn a beautiful shade of white. Park City Mountain has the largest snowmaking system in Utah, allowing an ample amount of terrain to see a fresh dusting of white on Thursday. Park City Mountain is scheduled to open for winter operations on Friday, November 22.
