SOLITUDE MOUNTAIN RESORT ANNOUNCES DIRECTOR OF MOUNTAIN OPERATIONS

Solitude, a Deer Valley Resort, has appointed Nate Lee as Solitude Mountain Resort’s new director of mountain operations effective on Monday, October 19, 2015.

SOLITUDE MOUNTAIN RESORT, BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, UTAH (October 26, 2015) – Solitude, a Deer Valley Resort, has appointed Nate Lee as Solitude Mountain Resort’s new director of mountain operations effective on Monday, October 19, 2015. Nate is currently entering his twenty-first year of employment at Solitude, and has held the positions of lift operator, lift maintenance mechanic, lift maintenance manager and most recently, the senior mountain operations manager.

“Nate has been an instrumental member of the mountain operations division since he started in 1995 and we are happy to see him move into the next chapter of his career at Solitude,” said Kim Mayhew, general manager for Solitude Mountain Resort. “His knowledge of Solitude’s operations and experience on the mountain make him uniquely qualified for this position.”

A native of Utah, Nate is married with three children and resides in Salt Lake City. When Nate isn’t working on the mountain, he enjoys fishing, camping, dirt biking, mountain biking and spending time with family.
