SOLITUDE MOUNTAIN RESORT, BIG COTTONWOOD CANYON, UTAH (April 2016) – Solitude, a Deer Valley Resort, has appointed Philip Diana as Solitude Mountain Resort’s new director of lodging operations effective on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Philip is in his sixteenth year of employment at Solitude, and has worked in a variety of positions in the lodging division, including housekeeping, front desk operations, guest services and most recently Philip was the general manager of The Inn at Solitude. “Philip has been a key member of lodging operations at Solitude since he started in 1999. His vast experience in the division paved the way for a broader understanding of what service, leadership and management really mean for Solitude’s guest and staff,” said Kim Mayhew, general manager for Solitude Mountain Resort. “With various titles and responsibilities over the years – Lodging Operations Manager, Creekside Building Manager, The Inn General Manager, his service oriented goals and direction have remained focused.” A native of Utah, Philip is married with two children and resides in Sandy, UT.
