SOLITUDE, Utah (November 20, 2017) — Solitude Mountain Resort welcomes their newest team member, Jeff Carroll, as the new director of sales and marketing in time for the 2017-18 ski season. For the last nine years, Carroll has been the director of sales and marketing at Red Lodge Mountain in Red Lodge, MT.
“Jeff’s experience from a variety of ski communities will bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to our mission here at Solitude,” said Solitude Mountain Resort General Manager Kim Mayhew. “We are excited to have him join the Solitude team.”
Before Carroll’s time at Red Lodge Mountain, he held sales positions at Tamarack Resort in Idaho and Colorado’s Copper Mountain. He served on the Boards of Yellowstone Country Montana, Red Lodge Chamber of Commerce, and the Montana Ski Areas Association, and he was a partner of the Red Lodge Tourism Business Improvement District. Carroll executed a social media campaign that won Ski Area Management Magazine’s Best Digital Media category in 2015, and he was awarded a spot on the Billings, MT 40 under 40 list of influential business men and women.
“I couldn’t be more excited to start the next chapter of my career with Solitude Mountain Resort,” said Carroll. “From their impressive snowfall, breathtaking landscapes, and overall atmosphere they’ve created for their guests, I’m incredibly proud to represent such a beloved destination.”
Carroll grew up in Crystal Lake, IL, where he learned to ski on the small ski hills of Wisconsin, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Regis University in Denver. He is an avid skier, runner, cyclist and hiker, and he will soon call Salt Lake City home with his wife, Ginny, and two daughters, Reese and Sylvia.
